For over 20 years, Lauren has been a designer, a painter, and an art teacher. Born and raised in Morristown, New Jersey, her mother was an accomplished painter and her father is a sculptor, potter,  and pottery instructor who is still actively working today.  From very early on, her childhood home was connected to the family studio. Art has been an integral part of her everyday life since birth.

Lauren majored in Interior Design at Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota Florida. ringling.edu. She received her BFA in 1996 and immediately began working as an Interior Designer.  She worked on both corporate and residential projects. Most of her design work was implemented in New Jersey, New York and Florida.

Lauren added teaching to her career when she acquired two New Jersey teaching certifications;  Elementary School Teacher and Teacher of Art. She worked for Hanover Township Public Schools as an art teacher for 15 years. Currently, Lauren is part of a team of admired artists and art instructors who work at Artworks Studio in Randolph, New Jersey.
